Updates

So, it's been 4 months since my last post. Life has been busy. I don't have a particular thing to update about, so I figured I'd just throw up a bunch of stuff that has gone on in the last month.

In January we went on family vacation to Disney. I have better pictures of this trip, but they are currently on a camera with a dead battery.

She had an absolute blast with her cousins. She talked about the princesses and the castle for weeks afterwards.

We had a super fun Valentines Day. Clay and I went out the weekend before, so on the actual day we celebrated as a family. We ordered take-out from our favorite Japanese steakhouse and bought candles and flowers. We turned down the lights and played Christian music while we ate. Then Lily and her daddy made cookies together.

Apparently the 3rd time's the charm - we had absolutely no crying and full cooperation at the dentist this time. Yay!

And of course, you all know by now that Lily is going to be a big sister.

She is BEYOND excited about this. She talks about the baby all the time, and says super funny things like "will the baby pop out of your tummy last week?" She always talks about how she is going to play with the baby and things they will do together ones the baby "pops out". She will randomly rub my tummy or tickle me and claim to be playing with the baby.

So, I suppose this blog will become about more than 1 child moving forward. I am about 20 weeks, and will find out in 11 days what the gender is. Well, pending the baby cooperates this time - because that didn't happen at the last ultrasound. Lily is convinced we are having a girl, so if we find out we're having a boy, it should be interesting trying to convince her of that!
