Disney Vacation 2013 (#2)

We have been on several vacations with family, but we have never been on a vacation that was just the 3 of us. We figured that since I am pregnant with the 4th family member, this would be the perfect time to take Lily to Disney World as an only child.

I was on a work trip, so Clay and Lily drove up together and picked me up from the airport when they arrived. They checked into the resort before I landed, and from what I can tell from these 2 pictures, she was super excited to be there :)

The first full day was spent at Magic Kingdom from 9am until 11pm. At 22 weeks pregnant, I thought I might die at some points, but we tried to take it as easy as possible.

In the car on the way.

Seeing the castle from the Disney tram.

Jungle Cruise.

Watching the street parade.

About to ride the Barnstormer - her 1st roller coaster. She put her arms up in the air and loved it.

Napping on the train.

4D Mickie show. She was so funny because she kept grabbing at the air.

Dinner.

Right before the laser show and fireworks in front of the castle.

Normally we wouldn't go to parks 2 days in a row, because we like our rest, but due to weather, we decided that was our best option. So, the next day we went to Animal Kingdom.

Meeting Minnie Mouse.

Petting zoo.

On the safari, Lily was so excited by all the animals, but she was super excited that there were actually Watusi. Ever since she saw them at the fairs we went to, she has been obsessed. She was convinced there would be Watusi at Disney World, and we had tried to break it to her gently that it was unlikely. Well, we were wrong! As soon as she saw them, she was shouting to the whole truck about the Watusi.

Rafiki - which she claimed at one point was her favorite part of Disney World.

Face Painting:

She insisted pretty vehemently that she wanted to be the cheetah.

Last picture before we left Animal Kingdom for the night.

The 3rd full day was spent playing at the resort and then at Downtown Disney.

After her nap, I did her nails with special nail stickers I had bought for her while I was traveling for work.

Then we took some family pictures before leaving for Downtown Disney.

Downtown Disney:

Being grumpy with Donald Duck.

Dinner in Rainforest Cafe:

Right after I took this, she shouted, "The monkeys are excited, the trees are excited, the elephants are blowing!!!"

This was her "It's yummy in my tummy" look.

DJ Dance party for the little kids:

Watching movies on the ride home:

We had SO MUCH FUN on the trip.It is definitely hard to be at work today. But, we did settle on the name for baby #2 while we were there. Her name will be Spencer Ann Tyson, and we will call her "Penny". When we told Lily, her response was, "no, the baby is not a money". Haha! But, she has embraced it, and now the imaginary baby in her tummy is also named Penny :)
